CULTIVAR Community Farm is an initiative founded and directed by Samuel Rose in collaboration with Hearty Roots Farm.

Hearty Roots Farm has been producing superior quality organic food in the Hudson Valley for two decades. The founders, Ben and Lindsey Lusher Shute, distribute their products throughout the region via CSA, farmers markets, and farm stand.

Samuel Rose graduated from Cornell University’s School of Agriculture and has a Masters In Education from City College, CUNY. He is a NYS certified science teacher, has professional experience founding and managing social development initiatives in the United States and abroad. Sam, and his wife Cecilia, moved from her native home of Mexico and are especially committed to supporting the Latina community in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Previously Sam Co-founded and directed activities at Four Corners Community Farm.

CULTIVAR Community Farm es una iniciativa fundada y dirigida por Samuel Rose en colaboración con Hearty Roots Farm.

Hearty Roots Farm lleva dos décadas produciendo alimentos orgánicos de calidad superior en el Hudson Valley. Los fundadores, Ben y Lindsey Lusher Shute, distribuyen sus productos en toda la región a través de CSA, farmers markets y un tienda ubicada en su granja.

Samuel Rose se graduó de la Escuela de Agricultura de la Universidad de Cornell y tiene una Maestría en Educación de City College, CUNY. Es profesor de ciencias certificado por el Estado de Nueva York y tiene experiencia profesional en la fundación y gestión de iniciativas de desarrollo social en los Estados Unidos y el extranjero. Sam y su esposa Cecilia se mudaron recientemente de su hogar natal en México y están especialmente comprometidos a apoyar a la comunidad latina en Mid-Hudson Valley. Anteriormente, Sam co-fundó y dirigió actividades en Four Corners Community Farm.
